Beginning of a New Year

It has been a long week. Germs floating through the air, planting themselves in the nostrils of our little ones and on the surfaces that they touch. Filling our home with the unusual melody of atchoo’s, elephant horns, sniffs, and hard breathing. The joys of the wonderous winter season. Surrounded by echinacea, elderberries, apple cider vinegar, vitamin c, herbal teas, broth, and more.

We are also expecting a return. Which is very unfortunate. These little furbabies are resilient but they know who their family is, especially when it’s a good loving family. I wish some puppy parents would understand the magnitude of allowing a 100+ pound dog to jump on people. This poor baby’s family member has broken a finger and been knocked over multiple times due to this behavior. It may seem awesome to have your Dane baby jump up to give you a hug and love on you but this can come at a cost and in this situation it has. Teaching a 150lb puppy to jump is a no no. It has now veered into a safety issue so here we are.

It is also time for me to prepare myself for being overexerted, filled with joy, exhausted yet socially flying to uncomfortable heights as I break my introverted chains and share my other passion with the world.

We shall see what the life of 2026 will bring.

May the Lord bless you all.
